The Hunter Law Story
Hal E. Hunter, Jr., started the firm in his hometown of New Madrid, Missouri after graduating with his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Notre Dame. Along with providing excellent legal representation to the citizens of Southeast Missouri, for over 60 years, Hal Jr. dedicated 38 years of his career to protecting the citizens of New Madrid County as Prosecuting Attorney.
Hal E. Hunter, III, "Buck" has carried on the practice since 1970 when he obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law (UMKC). He was known as a standout boxer for the Fighting Irish Boxing Team. In addition to practicing law he was appointed Adjutant General with the Missouri National Guard in 2001.
